Thank you to the 53 concerned citizens who gathered on the steps of the Brookings Post Office on July 20. The peaceful protest was to draw attention to, and protest against, the killing of two people by ICE agents in recent days.
It is essential to draw attention to these atrocities, demand that ICE agents be stopped, and when they do invade a community, they must wear the required body cameras to record their activities. Contact our South Dakota Congressional elected officials — Senators Thune and Rounds and Representative Dusty Johnson — to demand that they stand up and prevent this ongoing detrimental activity.
