SDSU’s Meyer invited to play in College All-Star Game

PHOENIX — April 4 at Global Credit Union Arena at GCU in Phoenix. Meyer, selected by a panel of national media experts, is one of 20 athletes from across the country who will compete in the AllStar Game.

Meyer averaged 22.6 points per game (ninth in the NCAA) and finished with a .646 field goal percentage (third in the NCAA) in her senior campaign. She also paced the Jackrabbits with 8.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 blocks per game. The first team all-Summit and all-defensive team pick led the Jackrabbits to a fourth consecutive Summit League Tournament title and was named Tournament MVP. The Jackrabbits went 22-7 overall and made their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009.

Meyer finished her Jackrabbit career with 2,097 points (third all-time) and a program-record .609 field goal percentage. She scored 767 points as a senior, a single-season record at SDSU. Her 174 career blocks is tied for second in history and 850 rebounds ranks third.
