Brookings 7, Brandon Valley 1
Jay Harris scored twice and had an assist as the Rangers skated past the Ice Cats in Brandon.
Talon Hyde had a goal and an assist for Brookings and Parker Nielsen scored and added two helpers. Jackson Heller, Josh Lovseth and Maxten Jensen also found the back of the net.
Cade Zweber had a pair of assists, with singles going to Tre Christopherson and Mauer Bartley.
Ryder Anderson earned the win in net, stopping 10 of 11 Brandon shots.
JV 1
Brookings 2, Brandon Valley 1
The Rangers JV1 outshot their host 41-18 but found the net just twice in the win.
Cooper Schneider had both goals for Brookings, both off feeds from Jason Ready. Ethan Foerster also had an assist.
Matthew Bothe was in net to earn the win for the Rangers, turning away 17 shots. Maxwell Kranzler took the tough loss for Brandon, stopping 39 of 41 shots.
JV 2
The second junior varsity squad dropped three tight games over the weekend.
Yankton 2, Brookings 1
The Bucks scored with just 14 seconds left to escape Brookings with a win.
Isaac Andal had the lone goal for the Rangers, unassisted.
Paxtyn Pottorff was in net and made 29 saves on 31 shots in the loss.
Rushmore 4, Brookings 0
The Rangers were shut out on Saturday after the long drive to Rapid City.
Pottorff was again between the pipes, steering away 22 shots in the loss.

Camden Reicks had the lone goal for Brookings.
Pottorff made 23 saves on 27 shots.
Bantam A
Brookings 21, Yankton 0
The Rangers scored six in the first period, 10 in the second and five more in the third in a rout of the Miracle.
Kallen Serfling led the way for Brookings with four goals and six assists, followed by Weston Diers who recorded seven goals and an apple. Tegan Jensen added two goals and four assists to the Brookings attack.
Single goals were scored by Luke Luvaas, Oliver Ahmann, Thor Zell, Deacon Trumbo, Jasper Pitts, Branch Otteson, Liam Heiberger and Graham Gerlach.
Trumbo added a playmaker, with Zell, Gerlach, Pitts and Heiberger adding two assists each. Owen Rounds and Otteson had single helpers.
Brayden Brintnall turned away 3 shots to earn the shutout.
Pee Wee A
The league leading Rangers swept a pair against Watertown at home over the weekend.
Brookings 10, Watertown 0
Sutton Jensen had four goals and an assist and Finne Konechne and Theo Treml had a pair of goals each for Brookings.
Ryker Schumacher and Hendrix Schmeichel also scored for the Rangers.
Konechne, Schmeichel and Colton Hendricks had two helpers each, with single assist going to Brodie Bahe, Joey Francisco and Schumacher.
Juke Anderson had five saves to earn the shutout win.
Brookings 13, Watertown 1
Schmeichel had a hat trick and Konechne, Jensen and Francisco scored twice for Brookings.
Also finding the net were Max Harris, Callen Fogelson, Cooper Hyde and Elliott Ahmann.
Jensen had a playmaker for the Rangers, with Kaden Ziegeldorf, Konechne and Schumacher recording two assists each. Single helpers went to Treml, Hendricks, Harris and Ahmann.
Nash Billings earned the win in goal.

The Rangers dropped a pair of league games.

Avery Swisher had a goal and an assist for Brookings and Graham Itterman had the other goal.
Sarantis Theodosopoulos and Henry Dangel split time in goal.
Brandon Valley 7, Brookings 1
The Rangers were outshot 36-5 in a loss at Brandon Valley.
Swisher had the lone goal for Brookings, unassisted.
Theodosopoulos went the distance in net, making 29 saves in the loss.
